One Connected Tray-Washing Workflow

The line is arranged around the condition in which trays return and the level of automation required before and after washing.

1. Destacking

Dirty tray stacks are separated and fed into the washing route.

Confirm tray stack and feeding method.

2. Optional pre-soak

A bubble-agitation pre-soak module can be added for trays that return with more persistent residue.

Confirm soil load and available line length.

3. High-pressure washing

Trays pass through the main washing stage on the conveyor.

Confirm tray geometry and target throughput.

4. Rinsing

A separate rinse stage follows the main wash.

Confirm water quality and drainage.

5. Dewatering

Centrifugal dewatering removes residual water before the trays leave the line.

Confirm the required downstream condition.

6. Automatic stacking

Clean trays are collected into stacks for recirculation or storage.

Confirm stack height and transfer method.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an egg washer and an egg tray washer?

An egg washer cleans eggs. An egg tray washer cleans the reusable plastic trays that carry eggs. OVOWELL configures this machine for plastic egg trays rather than for washing eggs themselves.

Can the line include pre-soaking?

Yes. An optional pre-soak module with bubble agitation can be reviewed for trays with more persistent residue. Send tray photos and describe the return condition before configuration.

Does the machine stack trays after washing?

The current line can include automatic destacking before washing and automatic stacking after rinsing and dewatering. Confirm the tray stack and downstream transfer method.

What capacity should an egg farm choose?

Start with the number of reusable trays that return during the busiest hour and the available operating time. The reference capacity is up to 5,000 trays per hour, subject to tray and project conditions.

What should be sent before quotation?

Send tray material, dimensions, cell count, photos, target throughput, soiling level, power, water, drainage, installation area and required automation stages.
