Description

Automated Trolley Cleaning

Automatic Meat Trolley Washing for Repeatable Plant Hygiene

The OVOWELL automatic meat trolley washing machine loads a standard 200 L trolley into a guarded washing chamber, turns it for access to internal and external surfaces, and applies heated water, detergent and rinsing through rotating spray arms. The reference operating capacity is 30-60 trolleys per hour; final output depends on the trolley format, soil load, wash cycle and selected handling arrangement.

What the Meat Trolley Washer Does

The machine is a contained wash-and-rinse route for reusable meat trolleys and bins. It reduces manual handling by combining trolley positioning, controlled tipping, rotating spray and filtered water management in one guarded process.

Controlled Tipping

The operator positions and secures the trolley before the lifting mechanism turns it into the washing chamber.

Internal and External Spray

Rotating spray arms direct wash water and rinse water across the trolley interior, exterior, base and difficult-to-reach surfaces.

Heated Wash Cycle

Steam heating and automatic temperature control support a hot-water wash with detergent before the final rinse.

Filtered Recirculation

Wash water passes through the filtration route and returns to the tank for the selected process cycle, while rinse-water use can be adjusted.

How a Trolley Moves Through the Cycle

1. Position and secure

Push the empty trolley into the locating device and secure it before starting the lift.

Confirm trolley wheel layout, frame height and fixing method.

2. Lift and invert

The tipping mechanism raises and turns the trolley into the guarded spray chamber.

Keep personnel outside the guard zone during movement.

3. Hot wash

Heated water with the selected detergent passes through rotating spray arms for the programmed wash time.

Set temperature, detergent dose and cycle time for the actual soil load.

4. Rinse and drain

Fresh or controlled rinse water removes loosened soil and detergent before the trolley is returned.

Confirm drain capacity and the required end condition.

5. Return and unload

The trolley returns to the loading position and can be rolled out for the next process step.

Check that the chamber is clear before the next cycle.

Reference Configuration for Standard 200 L Trolleys

The values below describe the current reference arrangement. The final build must be matched to one trolley format, one utility package and one approved cycle.

Parameter Reference value Confirm for your project
Reference capacity 30-60 trolleys/hour Trolley size, soil load, wash time, rinse time and shift pattern
Trolley basis Standard 200 L meat trolley Length, width, height, wheel arrangement, weight and photos
Construction 304 stainless steel structural parts and wash chamber Finish, weld requirements and any material compatibility needs
Heating Steam heating with automatic water-temperature control Steam availability, pressure, condensate and temperature target
Wash temperature 40-50 degrees C reference hot-water range Soil type, detergent, target temperature and validated sanitation procedure
Water management Filtered wash-water recirculation; reference tank volume 540 L Water quality, solids load, drain capacity and replacement schedule
Water use Up to 10 L per trolley reference Rinse setting, soil load and site water-recovery arrangement
Reference envelope Approximately 2975 x 2208 x 1600 mm; approximately 900 kg Access route, floor loading, service clearance and final approved drawing

Capacity and water use are reference operating values, not a guarantee for every trolley or every wash recipe. Confirm the actual trolley and cycle before ordering.

Choose the Washer by Trolley, Soil and Utilities

  • Send trolley dimensions, material, weight, wheel layout and photos.
  • Describe fat, protein, dried residue, labels and other contamination.
  • State normal and peak trolley volume, target cycle time and shift pattern.
  • Confirm wash and rinse temperatures, detergent type and any sanitation validation.
  • Provide steam, water, drainage, ventilation, power and control-panel requirements.
  • Show the available loading, unloading, service and operator-safety space.

Safety, Cleaning and Maintenance Boundaries

Safe operation depends on the complete machine, utility connections, guarding and site procedures.

Guarded Movement

Keep operators outside the guard zone during tipping and spray operation. Verify emergency-stop and interlock functions before production.

Water and Steam Isolation

Isolate electrical, water and steam services before maintenance. Never open access covers while the tipping or spray systems can move.

Filter Cleaning

Drain the chamber, remove the filter basket and drawer, and clean the wash and storage areas after the operating shift.

Panel Protection

Clean the machine with suitable methods and avoid directing a water jet at the control panel or electrical components.

The machine supports a hot-water and detergent cleaning process. It does not by itself establish a validated disinfection or food-safety result; the plant must define and verify its sanitation procedure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What capacity can the meat trolley washer handle?

The current reference operating capacity is 30-60 trolleys per hour. Final output depends on trolley dimensions, soil load, wash and rinse time, loading method and the selected cycle.

Is the machine designed for a 200 L trolley?

Yes. The reference arrangement is based on a standard 200 L meat trolley. Send the exact trolley dimensions, wheel layout and photos if your trolley is a different format.

Does it clean the inside and outside of the trolley?

Yes. The tipping movement and rotating spray arms are arranged to reach internal and external surfaces. Nozzle layout and cycle settings are reviewed against the trolley geometry.

Can the washer use steam heating?

Yes. Steam heating and automatic water-temperature control are included in the reference arrangement. Confirm steam pressure, condensate handling and the required wash temperature before selection.

Does filtered recirculation mean zero water discharge?

No. The wash route can filter and recirculate process water, while rinse water and tank replacement still depend on the soil load and site procedure. Confirm drainage and water-management requirements.

Does the machine guarantee disinfection?

No. Cleaning, hot water, detergent and rinsing support the process, but the site must define and validate any disinfection or food-safety result for its product and operating conditions.

What should be sent for a configuration review?

Send trolley dimensions and photos, normal and peak quantity, contamination type, wash temperature, steam conditions, detergent, water and drain details, power, layout and required control functions.
